Our Facility

We are located at 1401 Union Street in Lafayette, Indiana (southeast corner of Union and 14th Streets), with parking directly in front of the building. As you enter, our competent and friendly staff will greet you and make sure we are ready to serve you promptly. A comfortable waiting room with ample reading materials serves our adult guests, and a completely equipped children's waiting room, including videos, toys, and child-sized furniture, ensures that the entire family will have a pleasant introduction to our facility.

A series of private examination, diagnostic, and treatment rooms allows the medical personnel to focus on you alone, in a quiet, professional setting without interruptions. Our caring staff is always there for you, ready to answer all your questions and be sure you feel comfortable with our practice and procedures.

 

Also on-site is a full-service eyeglass dispensary with the latest in frames and styles of eyewear. From fully practical to merely fashionable, you will have a wide array of choices right in our office. We also stock a substantial inventory of contact lenses for the convenience of our patients.

 

 

Extended Office Hours

Part of our service is to offer you quality eye care outside of the typical 8 to 5 workday. We are open Saturday mornings and Monday evenings to serve you better. Our office hours are:

• Monday 8:30 am - 7:00 pm
• Tuesday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Wednesday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Thursday 8:30 am - Noon
• Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Saturday 8:30 am - Noon

Payment Options

The Mather Vision Group has several payment options for your convenience. We accept most major insurance company plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Arnett HMO, City of Lafayette, Caterpillar, Purdue, and Alcoa.

For those without insurance, we offer an option of cash, personal check, VISA or MasterCard.

 

Corporate Program

The Mather Vision Group works with many companies in the area to offer optical services, safety eye care, safety lenses, and education to their employees. We also provide frames and lenses, with or without prescription. Some of our current clients are Purdue, Wabash, Caterpillar, Frito-Lay, NTK, Sun Chemical, Altivity Packaging, and Endocyte.
